Hey All,
I recently built a new PC and gave my old one to my house mate - it had been running fine for the 2ish years I had it, all we did was move the PC to his room and format and reinstall windows vista 64 (same OS as before)... Literately that it, moved and formatted
However it keeps crashing with a BSOD with an error code of 0x00000124 and for the life of me I can't see why... have of course googled trying everything suggested and nothing.
Tried booting with each stick of ram to test, unplugged the HDD, change the PSU... same thing...
It appears to be caused from the nVidia drivers from what I can tell, the ones I had running when I used the machine were pretty old as I didn't game on it much, so didn't change them for months, cant remember what version they were to test though - got the most up to date ones from nVidia and nothing...
E6400 @ Stock
2x1GB GeIL RAM
400GB SATA HDD
200GB IDE HDD
PCI 7600GT
550W PSU (and tired 580W PSU)
Any ideas?
