For some reason, no wireless devices are connecting to my wireless router anymore. Nothing has been changed prior to this incident, with the exception of Virgin upgrading our line from 10mb to 20mb.

Since the problem, i have refreshed the router, reset it, changed the SSID (thought maybe it would kickstart something back into shape), changed the WEP key, moved it to a different location... everything.

I cannot for the life of me work out why every single wireless evice is no longer connecting. That's 3 netbooks, an iPod Touch and a Laptop all no longer connecting.

Anyone got the slightest idea what i can do?

Sounds odd. What problem do they get when trying to connect?

BTW use WPA (ideally WPA2 if all devices connecting support it) as it is more secure than WEP.

Could flash it to latest firmware if it isn't already running it, although it is strange it would just stop working mind.

Yeah. Regular wired is fine, its what im using now.

One says Connected @ 54mbps, but wont connect to any websites or other computers (says no cnnection in the browser)
One says Limited or No Connectivity
and the Linux one just asks for the WEP key over and over again.

Is flashing the firmware like flashing a BIOS? 5% likely to bugger it up?

Am i just confused? There's a lot of that about, tonight.

The key's regenerated automatically, using the passphrase. You don't need to change the passphrase every hour.

I changed the channel, that seems to have fixed it.. or it fixed itself and i did that coincidentally. Who can say!

Cheers for the help guys. Really odd :/
