Hi all,

I have have mayhems pastel white fluid in my tubes for about a week now but the tubes seem to going a horid off-white / yellow colour. I am pretty sure it is not the fluid because it is still perfect white in the res, which is plexi. You can see a little of what i mean in this pic. Most obvious by the CPU block.

Is there so better tubing i should be looking at buying? Or is this just some sort of weird optical illusion or something i can't stop?

I have a similar problem but with clear tubing:

This was a week a go when leak testing:

Using Primochill tubing and Mayhems pure water. I was putting it down to only flushing the rads and not the block etc?

In truth I have no idea as this was my first water build.

Can't comment on the OP, but that definitely isn't right wissel. You don't need to flush waterblocks - if you flushed your rad then I'm at a loss as to what caused that.

I just wondered as its looks like we are both using the XSPC Raystorm?

yep, definitely both got the raystorm but that much gunk cant come out the block. Im pretty sure mine is just the tubes as i cant really see the effect in the res.

My tubes are clear as well and i have a silver coil +mayhems fluid. I dont think it could be fluid?

We know Primochill and white pastel react how ever we've never seen it with Masterkleer i hope they havent now gone the route of primochill and started using cheap plasticizer (and to much of it) in there new batches. Btw i spoke to Masterkleer and told them some of tubing leaches badly.

Btw no offence and this is defiantly not some thing to do with mayhems its actually the tubing makers fault as we've looked into this all ready in the past and found all the answers we need. They Makers of this tubing need to get there finger out there a$$ and fix there factory pumping out this rubbish.

Is there a tubing you would recommend?

I'm re-doing my loop as soon as a GTX670 block it available anyway.

Since im going to be re doing my loop, is it possible to get hold of some high quality black or white o rings for my bitspower fittings? As nice as the green is, it really doesn't fit the bill for my build.

Also, any tips for removing the tubing and fittings without getting liquid all over my components. I am obviously going to drain it as best i can but i imagine there will be some residue which ill probably give me some grief. I am going to try and cover as much as possible with kitchen towel (white paper towel) but is there anything else i can do to help?
