Very First Build spec

Hi every one this is my very first build with OcUK and and my first post WOOP WOOP and i just want run past you my spec it will be used as a HTPC and some light gaming all alterations and suggestions are welcome thanks
(i will add a blu ray drive a 8800gts card and also another 500gb HD)
my main concern is the PSU and whether everything will be compatible with the mobo

you're going to get told to change your processor (and therefore mobo) to an intel. Just to warn you!

Your spec look OK for HTPC, just wonder how "light" your gaming then?

i'm not a hardcore gamer no longer than a hour at a time and not everyday also why change to intel (i'm New) thanks for the replies

If your that concerned about the PSU spend another fiver & get this

a lot better than the antec (Even though its 50W less) Wattage isnt important as far as this system is concerned, it may be if you decide to add to it later. 780G onboard will still run games a few years old fine - heck it will just about run crysis low detail 800X600!

Save £40 and get this. The 300 doesn't need any extra fans, use the stock cooler at stock speeds and fit a better cooler when it seems slow and over clock. (should get 3GHz)

thanks for the replys just a few more queries has anyone used the mobo and got a good HD quality not much in the reviews about HD you see and this is the main reason i chose this board also thinking of using windows media centre and i heard that vista pro has media centre aswell i'm tempted to stick with xp because of all the VISTA SUCKS threads lol
