Very high ping in CoD games with Windows 7 :(

Hi guys

I don't know if anyone can help but i've just had Windows 7 installed on my PC and since then everytime i play CoD 2 multiplayer my ping is generally between 90-150 (!) making game play practically impossible. Does anyone have any idea as to how i can fix this?

The servers that are running are probably far away resulting in terrible ping!

I have a friend working on a dedi server for cod2 running in his house that will be left on most days and night running our old cherry pies clan mod (great mod)

when its up i will give you a shout so you can test it with us to see if your ping is any better on a uk based server,

Other then that the only think i can think of is ip6 settings.

Many thanks for your response. The server i am using was exactly the same as when Vista was installed and my ping was fine then but i'm always on the look out for new servers
