Hello.

Ive just taken my CPU/heatsink out and shifted a lot of dust. I have put it back together and moved my tower on to the desk (better ventilation). I have noticed its very noisy.

Here is the data from speedfan 4.49

fanspeeds

This is the CPU heatsink/fan I have.

isn't that the amd stock cooler? its says that it is running at over 6200rpm, i didn't even know it could go that fast! have you set up a proper profile for your cpu fan because it says that pwm1 is at 100%.

No I havn't. It came as a barebone bundle. I only took the cpu fan/heatsink off to clean it out as I noticed it reached 128oC I think it was.

Ahh well its a good job I did clean the heatsink out as it was loaded with dust. lol.

Could do with some sort of fan upgrade though for my heatsink as its so noisy. I looked at the second hand corsair H series coolers but there not compatible with my case.

Xigmatek Asgard is my case

EDIT: I think the H50/H60/H70 might be as they just need the 120mm mounting option on the case.

Any help on the H50/H60/H70 coolers for my case?

The standard heatsink/fan I have is really getting on my nerves when gaming now. Its so loud.
