i just got my coolermaster silent pro 700w power supply, and i have fitted it into my antec 900-2 case, with the PSU fan on the bottom? is this ok or does it have to be pointed upwards?

i put it faced down becuase all the logos showed and the wired in mobo cables were against the motherboard panel

i always go upwards to prevent the psu overheadting

I dont know about the 900-2, but in my P182 I put the fan facing down too as it made for easier cable management. As long as there is a gap for air to be drawn in to the fan it should be fine.

yeah the cable management was the problem i came across, if i put the fan upwards then the wired in mobo cables wouldst reach the sockets!

not much of a gap tho i might jus try it and see

my hiper psu works fine with the fan facing upwards but that was the way the screws were aligned so thats how i placed it
