Very old drivers needed

For an ATI rage mobility 8mb, the standard windows xp rubbish like always doesn't load openGL properly ( as i can renember when i had to install nvidia drivers instead using the default microsoft geforce 2 drivers for mohaa back in the old days).

Trying to get mohaa running on a very old lappy, but I need openGL for that, thus a non-windows driver but a proper one by ati.

Tryed driverguide, google and asked around on msn but none will load properly on the lappy, windows says it can't find a driver for it, winxp pro btw.

Lappy is a compaq armanda e500 if important...

Please help .

When i click downlaod nothing happens, and after 2 mins i get an error screen page cannot be displayed...
Looks like i need that file though.
Googling that filename gives no downloadable results, can anyone downlaod it for me from the hp site or is everyone getting the problem?

Nevermind, it was my peerguardian blocking the hp downlaod, works now, thanks for the help guys .

EDIT:
AWWW mohaa doesnt work, card with multitexturing capability required . No opengl errors tho anymore, might help with older games.

edit: Doh, hope it sorts out other things though. The MS gfx drivers are awful.

This although raises the question, is there any half decent 3d fps game that runs on the lappy, anyone knows any good fps games for:
P3 600 mhz
128mb ram
8mb ati rage
cd-rom
11 gb hdd
?


Already have lots of sim, tbs, rts and adventure games:
C&C games
Aoe 1 & 2 + exp. packs
Theme hospital
Transport tycoon.
Civilization
Destruction derby 1 & 2
Commander keen 1-6
Space empires 5 ( yeah !, 3d game and runs )

But lappy lacks a good fps game.
EDIT: or am i better to ask this in game forums?

You could sell your mums lappy, put a bit of money on what you get for it and buy a lappy with better specs to run mohaa etc. Shouldnt be too hard to do.

Quake 3 should run on it in theory... same with Unreal and Unreal Tournament ("99") the original Half-life and the older valve games should also run ok on it...
