If I upgrade my computer (see sig) but keep my current hdd (Segate 120gb ATA) will I have to format my drive, because I have installed a new mobo, cpu etc?
 
In theory no, just uninstall the drivers, in practice its probably best to format the drive and start from scratch.

Yes if it's your Windows boot drive & no if it's just a data drive
 
thanks guys, unfortunately yes it is my windows boot drive at least its one of the paritions on the drive, but i suppose always best to start from scratch anyways ;)
