Hi guys,

My friend has an old PC which he is struggling to watch HD files on.

its a P4, 1Gb DDR2 RAM, but his monitor is running off the on board graphics chip.

He doesn't use it for gaming (quite obvious) so i was wondering if a ATi 5450 or the nVidia 210/220 would do?

Either would be a step-up from onboard graphics, go with the cheapest and/or quietest ..... you should consider upgrading the RAM to 2GB too.
