Hi Guys,

on the brink of buying my new pc, can you check this spec and tell me if it's decent :) or anything i should consider changing.


Samsung 160GB S300 7200RPM 8MB
Corsair Memory TWIN2X2048-6400 2x1GB 240-Pin DIMM XMS2-6400 CL5
XFX GeForce 7900GS 256MB DDR3 PCIE Dual DVI 450/1.32
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Socket 775 2.13GHz
Shuttle SB83G5M Socket 775 Intel 915G PCI-E ATX
BenQ 19" Benq FP91G+ 8ms TFT
LiteOn 16X DVD+/-RW/RAM DL IDE Black Bare Drive


This will set me back roughly about £850 so any suggestions would be welcomed :)
 
The only thing i question is whether the card will fit.
I have No experience with shuttles at all but the 7900GS is HUGE.
 
bleh :< back to the drawing board, i'm playing around with an amd setup atm. But it looks like intel is better value for money
 
Well, i've ditched the shuttle idea since i don't go to LANs anymore :). This is what i've ordered.

I have no intentions of overclocking, i use cpu intensive programs. after effects, cad and adobe premiere and I'm pretty sure this can cope with them all, play css and FEAR. Also i changed the graphics card at the very last minute to an X1950XT
