If your cousin wants to be playing games on it in the near future I suggest you forgo Vista for XP. Nvidia's drivers are dreadful.

Unfortunately he specifically requested Vista so I'm afraid I can't override him there.
Oh well he can spend 60 quid or whatever for XP if he really needs it in the future.

Mate, I would change the DS3 to a DS3P. Its a revised version of the DS3 with added features (Quad core suppport, firewire, solid capacitors etc) and common issues on DS3 ironed out. Only a couple of quid more too.

Perhaps it might be worth considering a P5N-E as well.

There are quite a few boards around that price range that offer similar performance & features. The P5N is a good contender too.
