We have our company website which is driven by Venda and outside of the office the performance is top notch but every machine within the building of the company it runs slow most of the time and pages don't load properly. Like the layout gets massively messed up.

Now Venda moved us onto a different server and straight after that this issue has been with us.

On the phone to Venda is no good, they claim its nothing that is there issue and our IT team aren't the best.

Like I said outside performance is top notch but in office is terrible.

Does anyone know what this could be with our server?

So the issues are:

1) The website is slow internally, fast externally.
How is browsing to other external sites from the inside?

2) Venda moved you to a different server...
Is this on their side, or did the website software get moved to another box on your network?

Other sites are fast. Its only our own website.
Its maybe something to do with how we communicate to our own website inside the company.
We are currently trying an internal DNS flush on individual machines and later on our server.

We dont use a proxy I believe.

Try to ping your website using it's FQDN.

Going by the graphics etc being messed up when you do browse to your site, I'd assume it's not a DNS issue, mind. Sounds more like a routing or bandwidth issue.

Is your website www.xyzblah.com, and your internal domain xyzblah.com?

Could be internal DNS/Domain server is looking around for the www machine, failing miserably and then your workstations or DNS is falling back to trying the outside DNS servers which point you at 1.2.3.4 IP address out there on the internet...

If it is the case, throw a DNS reservation on your internal servers pointing to the external site. (or something like that. been a long time since I played with networks)
