Just a couple of pics of a local small brigde. Really just playing around with ways of making dull shots a bit more interesting.

Any c&c welcome

#3 is the stand-out shot by far.

I do not like the angle on #2 at all. The flora on the left clashes with the focus.

The angle on #1 is my favourite, although you should've aimed to have a proportionate side on the left as there is to the right (rule of thirds).

I do quite like the contrast in #1 and #3, the shadows seem to give the images a bit more character. Although, #1 seems a bit over-contrasted.

After playing with levels I created a new layer via copy (but cut out the sky)and used the diffuse glow effect on it. I then deceased the saturation and reduced the opacity so the original layer showed through.

I know the compostion anit up to much but I dont have many pics to work with until we get some sunshine

Third shot is great :D It just works!

Your first two shots are pretty good too but I feel there is something missing, to make them really work, but I can't say what! I would be interested in seeing what they would be like if they were greyscaled and then processed from that :)

It's a good thing it's been raining, I pick up my camera tomorrow (hopefully) all fixed up. I am praying the sun will come out as it did earlier today after I got completely soaked playing football!
