Very Strange Question: Holding the DS

I've just picked up a DS from the MM and borrowed a few games from a friend to 'test' the system before I give it to my sister as a present ;) Overall it's much better than I anticpated, but I have a real problem with 'thumb ache' in my right thumb when I use any game that needs the d-pad and the face buttons. I can't play the likes of FIFA for more than 5minutes without needing a break. I think it's because I tend to brace the console from tipping backwards with my button thumb while playing.

Does anyone else have this problem, or am I just holding the thing like a spoon? :p I don't have freakishly large or small hands as far as I'm aware :)

I've heard of lots of people with this problem. Apparantly the DS Lite's much better to hold - so give this to your sister quickly and order yourself a DS Lite!

There's no games that really interest me on the PSP to be honest. I've got a few friends with them and they are all gathering dust after the initial 'cool' factor wore off.

Kreeeee : How do you hold it? Screen flat or tilted up? Resting on something or holding it up in the air? It's a strange question I know :)

Ive never had any problem when holding my DS, tho i dont play it for hours on end, i just pick and play, which is what you are ment to do with hand helds :D
