Very strange Telewest IP Routes

Greetings, for various reasons this evenin ive been trying to ping a device im configuring locally on 192.168.1.1 which is directly connected to my laptop, my home network falls within a 10.150.0.0 network.

Have a look at the image below and see if you can make sense of it?!

As you may see traffic for a Rfc 1918 address is being routed externally across the telewest network and terminating on a network which looks like it belongs to NTL. I don't know about you guys but that's practically impossible?!

Not really, all that's happening is that your router has a default route (And no more specific for 192.168.1.1) so is sending it out the WAN interface.

Just make sure either your router or PC has a route for 192.168.1.1 pointing where ever you want it to do.
