Very strange temps E6600??

Just swapped out my E6300 for a mates E6600 and in coretemp, the CPU temp is at idle 35c however the 2 core temps are at 50c!! I am running on a freezer 7 which is fitted correctly, whats wrong with these temps??

i have already and tried different heatsinks/compounds, the cpu temps are fine at 35c its just the core i am worried about

yes it was idle at 35 cpu and 35 core on his so I am thinking it may be motherboard, but even so, why does it come up so high in coretemp (which i thought was the most accurate)

yes was the latest version of core temp aswell?! i was looking forward to overclocking this thing and im barely looking good at stock, mabye its normal for the cores to be this high, my cpu temp is only 35c!

the fan is not on full, airflow is great, my other E6300 was at 35c on cores so thats not the problem, im so confused its weird, i havent messed with voltages they are at 1.280v

ahh yes cause i had this on 1.6ghz and i was told to run at 2.4ghz i needed to disable these features, will this affect temps though?

a very good point, my temps are fine i think as my room is always hot, im looking at the swiftech compact kits as i really wanted to hit 3ghz! cheers for the help all!
