so I'm after a very quiet PSU to run a water-cooled I7 nudging 4Ghz and a water-cooled overclocked ATI 4870 X2
best i can come up with so far is the Zalman ZM1000-HP, 1000watts and heatpipes gets very good reviews for being almost silent even under full load.
but its over 2 years old now and been discontinued, i can't help thinking there must be a newer more energy efficient one out there that I'm missing or is the Zalman still the one for the job?
at least part modular is a must as well.
