Very very small dents

So today the wind caught my car door as it was opening and it banged against another car's bumper. The guy in the other car was fine about it, it was a 15 year old citroen, it was a very light contact, he didn't even realise it until I went round to apologise.

However, I now have what can only be described as a "micro dent" in my sparkly new car door. I'm almost tempted to leave it as is - as you have to look for it to see it...but the problem is that *I* know it's there. So what are the best options to go for? I've heard that some very small dents can be massaged out by people like chipsaway, etc.

Thanks.

Today is the day your new car became a used car. Hope the depreciation was worth it, it lasted what, 3 weeks? :p

In all seriousness though, most local dent repair guys can sort this for about 50-60 quid. Yellow pages time, look for something like Dent Doctor.

It lost more in depreciation the moment I drove it off the forecourt, surely?

Still, it's a good job I don't view the car in terms of depreciation, as I'm planning on having this one at least as long as I had my previous one.

I've already booked in the local chipsaway geezer, so thanks for the ballpark figure.

Update: dent all gone, £65.

Didn't even need to remove any panels, just went down the side of the window.
