Hello there,

After trying to get through to support via the phoneline I thought I would just use the forums in the hope someone will answer.

I purchased the Titan Nero pc in november 2009 and I use it everyday and I have no issues with it

However when I decided to go home for the weekend from university, I didn't use it for 3/4 days, returned.

I turned on my pc and monitor as its my first thing as I come through the door and my monitor could not detect the pc was on and cause its a old monitor I brought a new LG FLATRON, plugged it in..... it works = success (this was during December time if I remember right)

Again, I went away for a week with my family... came back on the saturday and I turned on my pc and monitor..... monitor cannot detect the pc is on.

I checked all the wires, restarted the pc and still no signal, checked the graphics card and restarted, took out the card and placed it back in again and still no signal... tried the monitor in the onboard graphics and it worked... tried the card in my bro's pc and he got a signal come through but his pc could not see the graphics card... he took it to Overclockers in Stoke and they tested it there and then on two different things and they said it worked so he brought it home... tried it in my pc and it worked.... Magnifcooo!!

I tried my old monitor that I thought was a failure and it worked also... very weird?

I have a wierd theory that neither me or my brother can explain... why cant my pc detect the graphics card for so many hours then just suddenly decide to work? I've never heard of this issue before :(

Any ideas why? solutions?

Mr.Bubbles

Thanks ladies/guys :)

Try a new BIOS battery.
Try jumping the BIOS.

I did these when my pc went like that after a camping trip and it worked, i think it was either a flat battery or the bios had somehow broken itself meaning it could not boot, this was because of my overclock i think. Anyway that worked for me so good luck

Ah right, i just read your other post, can you get the pc to turn on after a week?
So if you come back a week later turn it on it doesnt work but over the enxt few days it does work?

Bios battery is what powers the bios chip so that it keeps the settings, I cannot remember what size it is but i think it is a CR12 (cell battery) comes to mind, it is usually located around the PCI slots, that could be the problem?

How did you fix it before?

And to jump the bios there are two small pins located by the battery which you jump using any piece of metal, although there are special jumpers which you can get, this will just reset the bios to how it was before.

oh right... sounds interesting - ill probly get my bro to check that out rather than me do it - i dont mind playing with the big bulky parts but that does sound interesting ;)

ill copy and paste that and show me bro...

My pc does turn on etc after a week, over 3/4 days it worked too lol, it was just my monitor cannot detect that the pc is on... I dont know how i got it to work, just as I said before... the graphics card decided to work

Ah right ok wlel im not 100% sure if that will solve the problem but it'll be worth a try :)
Had you played with the bios/overclocked it at all before it happened?

I didnt know the motherboard has any batterys on it lol although I have seen a battery like thing on it.
I have only looked at the BIOS area and overclocking but I'd sooner just leave it cause im awesome =D

Fair enough well if im right the jumping or new battery should work (in theory) if not im not sure what to suggest but im sure other on here will have had the same problem.
Also if you bought it from OCUK it might be worth sending them an email or something?
