62c is the stated max temp for a 955BE and although I am sure higher wont damage it to much (depending on vcore) you are going to have some serious instability issues.. These CPU do not like heat! You can have a perfectly stable clock at 55c load which is unstable at 60c load..
for example I am running a clock under water 3.95ghz CPU / 2.7ghz NB/HT max load temps on the CPU is 48c.. exactly the same clock under high end air with load temps of 64c was totally unstable
Edit:
In regards to the poster that was asking for BIOS settings..
Off the top of my head for 3.7ghz ish you are looking at:
Vcore: 1.45
NB: 1.2
NB - CPU VID: will probably need a couple of bumps
You want to try and get you NB/HT running at around 2.6ghz you will notice a big difference in performance (you will need more NB - CPU VID for this)
Make sure that when you clock you get you RAM and NB stable first before you even touch the CPU, some 955BE have issues with RAM running over 1066mhz. If this is the case you want to run at 1066mhz and tighten the timings up as much as you can.. Only once you have your NB and RAM stable look to clock the CPU.. I would aim for around 3.7 - 3.8ghz keep load temps on the CPU under 60c.. keep an eye on your NB temps especilly once you start pumping more NB - CPU VID.. again 2400 - 2600mhz should be your aim for NB/HT.. its worth sacrificing 100 - 200mhz on CPU speed to get this if you have to
