Starting today adaptive refresh-rate synchronization, now known as Adaptive-Sync, is an open standard.

VESA has approved the specification of the new DisplayPort 1.2(a), which is adding the support for G-Sync or FreeSync like technology.

Nice but shame about us that have monitors we dont wana sell or upgrade cos we have no money lol. Also mine doesnt have a display port. :(
