Is the clamp non height adjustable? I've seen a cheapish one on amazon that looks like it would support it, reviews don't seem bad but want to see what others have got before i take the plunge.Following - I have a 35" and 27" but can't mount the 35" as the wall mount I have only supports 2x27".
DM'd you, let me know your thoughts? My only worry is it leaning forward with all the weight. It's wall mounted but the arms do allow them to be moved in all directions. However, even fully apart I can't mount it. The actual mount is off center due to where I have my desk and I don't want them directly in front of me with the bezels down the middle - I want my gaming monitor directly in front and my 2nd one on the right.
Can you DM me the one you've found?
Ahh I see. I can't comment on the clamp ones as my desk doesn't allow for that. I'd personally feed a little anxious about a clamp one like that.
Edit: The other alternative is to buy 2 single monitor arms and mount them to the wall, one above the other.
Looks quite sturdy that, but ideally i'd want it sitting further back against the wall as my desk isn't the deepest especially with a 34" ultrawide unless the arms can be maneuvered to be flatter while still able to do a vertical double stack? Just can't see how though.Yeah, I can see how that might be an issue. Personally I'd suck up the grief you'd get for wall mounting over potentially 2 monitors collapsing onto the desk.
What about this? Looks solid and if you can get the clamp in a solid place, might feel better about using one.
PUTORSEN® PC Dual Monitor Arm - Aluminum Ergonomic Height-Assisted Full Motion Heavy Duty Double Arm Desktop Clamp Mount for 17–32” Screens'
Ahh yeah, I see what you mean. Either they'll be super far apart or not flat against the wall.
I'm really struggling to find a dual arm mount that supports 34 and 27. Best I can find is a single
Edit: I'd prefer to avoid drilling another set of holes for a single but I'm running out of ideas...
Yeah, it's pretty bad. The only one that might support dual 34s is this one but the price is a little
PUTORSEN® PC Dual Monitor Arm-Heavy Duty Aluminum Ergonomic Gas-Assisted Full Motion Double Arm Desktop Clamp Mount for 17–35” Screens
Hmmm didn't think of that.. got a recommendation? Here's an option...triple monitor stand and leave the middle one empty...
Thanks man, taking a look now.Looking at reviews, some of these look like good contenders:
- Duronic Monitor Arm Stand DM353
- TRIPLE LCD LED TFT Monitor Desk Stand
- VonHaus Triple Monitor Stand
- Mount-It! Triple Monitor Mount | 3 Monitor Desk Stand
I would never use a single foot triple mount and would only use a single foot dual mount if it was low to the desk as there can be quite a bit of wobble when typing or printing etc.
My current 6 monitor setup is using three Ergotron LX tall pole mounts for the bottom row and three Duronic gas arms on Duronic extra tall poles for the top row (Ergotron don't make any very tall mounts). This is very sturdy even when raising the height adjustable desk they're on.
I find the Duronic mounts extremely good for the cost and have a wide range of compatible parts, although they're not in the league of the Ergotron mounts for quality. However Ergotron doesn't seem to be keeping up with current needs for screen width and stacking and their only medium height mount (barely tall enough to stack 2 x 24 is only available in white!)
@Jay85 This is the best I can find for dual 34" support
ARCTIC Z2 Pro (Gen 3) - Desk Mount Dual Monitor Arm, up to 34"/35" Ultrawide
Gonna setup the 34" tonight and see how much space i have to play with before i order. The one i was looking at has now gone back up to £29.99 , damn it!24s are considerably lighter than our 34/35s so I would suggest it'll be fine. Just make sure it's got a solid anchor point.
As it stands, I think I'm going with a single arm wall mount for my 35 as I can't find any dual arm wall mounted units supporting 34/35" monitors
