Another company bites the dust. A sad one this. Vestax made my first ever mixer when I was 14 and were a great company. Their products were very well respected. I'm quite surprised they got into this situation. I still thought they were popular and good sellers.

EDIT: Just noticed the thread title error. Pesky ipad auto correct. Grateful if someone could change it please.

I too, had a Vestax mixer back in the late 90s / early 00s. I dunno about good sellers. All in one digital controllers kind of took over and many I think picked up Traktor hardware because of the software integration. And I've had a play on some Vestax controllers and while they're good, I still think the Traktor stuff is better specifically because of the software integration (it's kind of an Apple like thing in that regard). There was always a lot of hate too for Vestax customer service from what I remember. When it worked it was great, if it didn't you'd go through hell.

in 1995 me and a mate went halves on a 2nd hand set of technics SL1210s. i'm pretty sure the included mixer was some vestax jobby but i can't remember the model at all. those were the days... :p

I remember the first straight-arm PDX turntables being cool, but never was a fan of their mixers, 1210s and Pioneer for me back when I still played my 12"s
