Vettel vs Alonso - Who Deserves it more?

Ala Benson's BBC article, thought this would be a good place to have a debate on this question too...

Personally I think Alonso deserves the WDC more, even if Sebastian wins these last two races.

Muscled a lesser machine to points and positions where it had no right to be this season.

Do these last 2 races not count then?

Yes they may count, I can't see Alonso having a poor run in the last two races though. The discussion can continue after the WDC has been established for this season as well.

I also like the way that Alonso has handled himself this season. He has come across as a lot more endearing compared to seasons gone by.

When things haven't gone smoothly he has quietly expressed his feelings with famous ideologies and quotes referencing famous proverbs, coming across far more laid back and passive.

Vettel on the other hand has shown at times that he is still maturing as a driver and rather "slams the desk" with his gesticulations and radio messages when things aren't going right.

Obviously none of these things win points but I find it easier to appreciate Alonso's mentality.

Vettel would probably have tried to have Horner sacked if he'd had the car Alonso has been carrying this season!
