Received my VF900 today and will be slapping it onto my 7900GT later on.
I've never replaced a coling fan on a GPU before, instructions on the website look pretty straightforward. Are there any tips/pitfalls to be aware of before I start?

Don't use too much thermal paste and apply the pressure a little bit at a time (one screw, then the other alternating until it is nice and secure)

Yeah I fitted two the other week, pretty straight forward though I did get one of them not flush with the core so it was throttling but it was just a quick 5min job to reseat it again.

Gives a vast improvement over the stock cooler.

Good luck mate, you shouldnt really have any trouble I reckon, make sure not to put the 3pin fan into the card but into your motherboard (might not matter for yours, but does on a x1800xt which changes volts with different temps).
