anyone know where i'd get these, basically it's a small lcd or vfd readout panel that goes into a 5.25" drive bay.
problem is, it's hard to get them.
i was trying to buy an Antec Multimedia Station Elite, it was cheap, pretty, the right colour (white text on black) and had a remote with a mouse-cursory-movement function.
problem: out of stock on the whole earth, even places saying "+20 in stock" were emailing me a few days later with an apology and a refund.
i tried using one off fleabay and needed to make my own mount, which i ruined, some guy on here of here was gonna send me some blanking plates and i was gonna try again but he never sent em.
so am at the end, i just want to get something (anything!) into that drive bay and put the whole affair to bed.
any help would be appreciated.
