VFDs? and what reciever for a MCE remote?

i am a but clueless about VFD's, am looking for a VFD that can take info from a currently played movie using Media Player Classic or MediaPortal and display something useful like current time+time remaining?

also i have a MCE remote that i would like to use (its currently being used on my 360 but i find i hardly use that as a media player anymore) on my HTPC and assume i need some sort of reciever for it? are there internal ones available?

i dont need it to display cpu temps or memory usage or stuff like that, just media related info.

is there any VFD (if possible is able to have some sort of reciever to make my MCE remote work) that fits my needs and ideally fits into a 3 1/2 bay? have a 5 1/4 available but would prefer to use the 3 1/2 if possible..

it comes with a remote and mediacenter software. I dont recall ever seeing a 3.5" bay one, but i could be wrong.

looks very much like what i'm after, googled a review of it and whilst it has a media mode, there was no mention of if it could display info for movies and not just music.
