VG236HE 3d?

Hi, i have a VG236HE monitor and im looking to try 3D so i need some Nvidia glasses.
do i need the one's with or without the IR transmitter?

you will need the full kit for that monitor. (with the IR transmitter)

If you got the HE then you will need a pair of these bad boys.

Just done an hour on L4D2 with mine, you wont be disappointed

Have the same monitor, it's awesome. Very happy with it, and 3D is fantastic.

The VG236HE doesn't have a built-in transmitter nor does it come with any Nvidia 3D Vision set. He needs the full kit not just a pair of spares.

also matt what graphics card are you using as you will need a gtx460 or better to get decent frame rates in 3d mode.

quite well its what im using.
carnt remember exact fps of the top of my head but get around 40fps in 3d mode on most games.

I have this monitor and a 6970. Would the 3D still work with the AMD card or has it got to be Nvidia?

nvidia 3d vision only works with nvidia
there are a few 3d things like iz3d which would work with ATI Cards but i remember seeing a source that its not as good and theres a limit to the depth before you see 2 solid objects.
