VGA cable

im going to buy a new monitor cable as mines got a bit dodgy on one end (screen goes very pink if moved in the wrong place) but im not sure what one i need to buy

would it be a "MALE to MALE VGA cable"?

i hate all this male and female crap it confuses the crap out of me, its an NEC FE1250+ if that makes any difference

If you look at the output of your graphics card you see a blue protrusion with 15 holes, this is female. The input to your monitor should be the same (I've never seen it otherwise), so you need Male->Male.
