So I got a Xenta VGA cable and I hook it up to my TV and try and set the resolution at 1920x1080 and all I get is a black screen and the TV saying check signal cable. I can only get resolution like 1600x1200 working and even then only with ghosting all over the screen. So I get a replacement shipped out to me and it has exactly the same problem!

Now I know its not the computer or the TV because I have an old VGA cable that works just fine.

In fact this is the exact cable I ordered but I got it from another site.

Does anyone know of a good VGA cable that can actually display Full HD resolutions and not be affected by ghosting?

Whats wrong with the old vga cable if it works fine ?

Can you not use HDMI/DVI from your graphics card to your TV ?
