Hi there

OK this is pretty much the first time in past 6 months plus where we've not only achieved MSRP but actually improved on them somewhat, its been hard to hit these price points as over the past week or so the pound weakening has made it very hard to hit these price points, as such were just sacrificing margin our side to get them this low, with stocks landing this week its not easy, but here are the highlights:

There are a lot more cards reduced and now in stock too, so be sure to browse the relevant sections. :)

What price should we as consumers actually be paying for lets say an RX 580 or GTX 1070 I am simply curious. The prices keep going insane lately up and down and OCUK seem to be the kings on price right now very impressive :).

1060 6G - Is pretty spot on at £250
1070 - I would personally say is still over priced and should be around £350
1070Ti - Is underpriced at £399, its a funded deal once they are gone they will be back to £420 and above
1080 - Is underpriced, I feel 1080 is been cleared out so that 1070Ti can fill that spot.
1080Ti - Some are well price (under £700) but many are still very expensive as they are still in severe shortage.

RX / Vega needs to be cheaper, but they are selling and stock is still reasonably short so seems to be not moving.

OcUK is trying to lead the way with price drops, forcing rest of market to follow us as many competitors just tend to react and follow others pricing, they never lead as such. So when we do these price drops normally the first to follow us is the rain forest and then others follow suite, though sometimes they then put prices back up when they realise they are losing money or not making enough.

Thx for the reply, looks a good card but my case is a micro itx and my last card gave up after nearly 5 years service, no mining just playing games. The warranty on the zotac was 5 years that really got my wallet out.

Just curious but why is the 1080 Ti Strix £1100 ? That is the same price as the Titan Xp *little p* which you can still buy direct from Nvidia, I bought my 1080 Ti Strix for £780, That's 1 hell of a mark up.

The price wouldn't be like that if nutters wouldn't buy it, so I'm guessing it's selling (albeit slowly)

Because its still selling 50+ per week and we can't get enough to keep with demand, once we can get 500+ in stock the price will come down, until then its set to a price where it sells but sells slow/steadily so it at least remains in stock.

We have 9 left and another 50 due this week and yes were making a lot of margin on that card, but on the flip side the Asus 1060, 1070Ti cards we lose money on, so on one hand we take it and on another we give it. Prices are generally set on supply/demand terms and on the 1080Ti particular this mode demand vastly outweighs supply so we mark it up to slow sales and on 1060 for example our supply is higher than demand so we sell them at a loss to keep sales volume. All that matters end of the day is on Asus product as an overall we make a profit, which we do, but of course there will be some big markup lines, other lines not so much, even loss leaders.
