VGA > DVI?

I recently bought a Samsung 913N (love it so far

), using my 9800pro as VGA input.

I have decided to take the plunge into PCI-Express AMD 64, meaning new motherboard CPU and graphics card. Problem is, all the cards I would like only seem to have Dual DVI, meaning no VGA?

Surely that can't mean I either get rid of the Samsung or go with a card I don't want with VGA support.

Is there any kind of VGA > DVI convertor out there and if so how much roughly do they cost?

Edit: I think I may have found one that came with my 9800pro oops.

Does using a VGA > DVI converter make any difference in picture quality?

Most Graphics cards with DVI come with a VGA convertor

Should'nt make a difference id have thought, not a noticeable one anyway.

not really, the convertor is doing essentially the samething that an onboard VGA connection would

VGA to DVI converters don't really exist - at least not without spending quite a bit.

DVI to VGA adapters, are well, just that - adapters. The graphics card's DVI port has to be a DVI-I port which means it outputs both a DVI and VGA signal. The adapter then just takes the signal from the pins dedicated to VGA and turns them into a regular VGA port.
