VGA screen ---> HD PC - Help?

Anyone know of an adaptor that doesnt cost the world that can do this?

So you're after a 9 pin D-sub to....what exactly? DVI? HDMI? Displayport?

So the screen has VGA only? What does the PC have?

If the PC has DVI-I (note the four little connectors near the flat "blade" on the wikipedia pictures) then you can get a passive DVI to VGA cable which will work fine.

Anything else is probably a no go without an expensive active adaptor.

Aspire XC 704 is the PC which supports HDMI

VGA is the screens output

Make sure it's an active one. Passive cables won't work as HDMI has no analogue signal. They're about £10-50 from a quick search.
