So my 360 came back today from Microsoft, refurbished machine that's actually older than the one I bought, that's another story though.

I have two PC's one of which is already using the VGA connection and the other uses DVI, would I be able to use one of them simple VGA splitter cables (1 male --> 2 female) so I don't have to keep unplugging my work machine every time I need to skive and play Table Tennis? Will it cause any problems? I know some of the VGA splitter boxes are restricted in resolution but surely this wouldn't be, would it?

I'm looking for one of these too, but I guess OcUK forums is not a good place to look. OcUK does not sell these, but I bet some competitors do. I have only found ones that are about £30 and require the use of a ps2 keyboard/mouse and you use the keyboard to swap screens.

local high street shop sell them at £25 im using one now. Pc doesnt have to be on for it to work either unless ure using the line in. It displays resolutions upto 2000oddxwhatever cant remember lol

I bought the D-Link one from OcUK for £50 and I love it, however, it's only really worth it if you regularly use 3 or more inputs (which I do).

I bought it because I refuse to use Belkin products which simply suck.

Is there any image quality degredation at all?

None that is really noticable. The only time that you see some clearly is when a PC has a white page open (like a website) and that causes lines across the screen. To solve that you set your Windows to shut down monitor after 2 minutes or something, then the image is as-if your Xbox360 is direct to the monitor.

If you have a dark desktop background that normally works fine too.
