VGA Splitter

Right so ive just bought an XBOX 360 and im currently using my PC monitor to play it on but that means i cant use my PC and i have to keep unplugging the xbox VGA to plug in the PC VGA so i was wondering is they some sort of switch/splitter i can get so i can just switch between the 2.

Ive seen this but im not sure if it would work, also how could i switch between the 2? would it just be the one thats turned on?...thanks

dont know about that but a kmv switch would allow you to switch between the two of them with a press of a button or a combination of keys on the keyboard

they are about £30 thinking off the top of my head

and you can get ones for mor than 2 computers (or xbox if it has a vga cable)

ah right does anyone know a good cheap KVM switch i could use with my 360?

2 Port Micro KVM with attached cables (NLKVM-P2PC) Only cost me £10 but unfortunately can't say where from! Very easy to work!... just make your PC the master device and it switched using 'ctrl - ctrl - No' eg: 'ctrl - ctrl - 2' for your X360 and 'ctrl - ctrl - 1' to go back to your PC...

Great thanks a lot, ive seen it for £16. Does it degrade the picture quality using one of these? are you using this for the reason i want it?

It'll handle a Res of 1920x1440 so even 1080i/p 'll look as broadcast!...

I'm using it between my main rig and my laptop though!...
