I'm using an "Xbox 360 to PC VGA Switch" to use my xbox and pc on the one input, however I am using the VGA cable that came bundled with the switch to connect the switch to the monitor, I am getting rather bad ghosting. I'm assuming this is the reason, would a higher quality cable fix it?

i have a similar setup but i use 2 quality cables and the VGA from the x360
mine runs fine cant tell the difference to having the pc linked up direct.
XBOX and PC >> 22" Monitor

Yes a higher quality cable might fix it

Ghosting is caused by signal reflection (imagine the picture signal, it bouncing back down the cable and then back up again with a slight delay = ghosting )

Get cables with inductors on them ( the round cyclinder things on the each end of the cable near the connector ) , they stop this interference
