cheers

Indeed, probably end up not being able to support high res either. Your best going with a VGA splitter box, but they won't be as cheap as that cable.

ah yeah i seen them around. usually come with a power adapter i guess to boost the signal.

i'll have a look around for one cheap enough then

3 machines at my work place use the same cable without any lost of quailty and will run upto 1024 x 768 without any issues. illgrab a few pics if anyone wants to see it in action.

Hi, you probably won't lose quality of the picture, however, with the output being split, you will lose some brightness of the picture, you may be able to adjust to compensate....

hmm, well ill be running at 1280x1024 on both. I'd love to see some pics if you could get them??

if their ok i might try one, their only a couple of quid from egay so if it really does reduce quality then its no big loss

I've tried one of these (a 50p jobbie from an online shop) and the quality was appalling. Does naybody know of anywhere that does a decent quality one which will result in little/no drop in quality, or will it have to be a splitter box job?

i clean forgot about this topic, but what do u expect from a pothead :p

Ill nip over to the guy who has this running and find out what hes using
