VHS - DVD (usb) converter for Windows 7 64-bit?

I'm a little mixed up with some converters that I am not sure would work with W7 64-bit OS.

I know that there's no chance of improvising the VHS "quality" to HD, that's not possible (upscaling, perhaps, but would not show any higher definition, that's for sure).

In short, I just want to buy a VHS-DVD usb convertor that would run nicely under W7 64-bit, and would convert VHS tapes to DVD (via the PC) in an acceptable quality where possible.

Any suggestions as to recommendations of any particular make/model? Would like to hear your views, especially if you have used it before?

Many thanks. :)

Either will do, just that I want to know which device *WILL* work with Windows 7 64-bit OS.

Some VHS-DVD USB converter devices have been known to have problems and requires drivers which may not be compatible with W7 64-bit.

This is why I ask anyone out there who has tried the device (whatever make/model) and *works* with W7 64-bit.

Ta!
