A while back I got a expansion PCI card has 2 internal sata and 1x IDE and 1 eSata port on it. This: http://tekgems.com/Products/la-pci22-vt6421a.htm (kind different but the same chipset)
Can't get the thing to do anything other than Code 10 in device manager. Got XP pro SP3, and 1x 500GB seagate SATA drive plugged in.
ASrock VSTA board with the 2 onboard SATA having a 1.5 and a 500 drive in bot seagate.
have tried 580c, 540a, and 530c drivers. Can't find 550 which some people say have worked.
Anyone got a card like this?
Does anyone know how I can get this to work.?
I really can't be bothered to get a whole new motherboard just to be able to use 3 sata drives.
have tried the card in 2 PCI slots, but maybe I'll shuffle it about again if you think that'll work.
<edit> ahhh I tped thr thread title wrong - it's a 6421 not a 6241
