Hi there,
I have set up a new PC as a file server, but i will occasionally use it to access the internet.
As a file server i would like the resources to be accessed pretty quickly. But I would like it so that it doesn't have to access the internet through my main PC.
Currently i have a wireless network which the internet runs through, which is far from reliable.
Now I have a network card in each machine adn they are connected to that network, but still if that wireless network isn't working or is slow, I would still like to access the resources.
So can I put a Cat5 cable from one machine to the other and make it so that when i want to access the file server it always goes through *** cat5 connection?
Thanks.
