Vibration @ 60mph and then at 70mph

Hi All,

My Car (A4 B7) has started to vibrate when I am at around 60mph, speed up to 65mph and it goes, and starts again at 70mph till around 75mph ish.

The steering wheel does not wobble but is more a vibration which travels throughout the car and up my legs! Very annoying!!

Just wondering is it a matter of the wheels needing to be re-balanced?

Tyres?

My fronts were a bit worn down and I got the same at 75-80mph indicated. New tyres and vibration has gone.

Either a warped brake disc
OR imo more likely a unbalanced wheel

My money is on tyre unbalanced or uneven wear.

With uneven wear you would get pulling when braking and tramlining when over broken surfaces too i'd have thought.

I'd get it to a tyre place to they can check the wear with a gauge and balanced the wheels.

Decent tyre places do a free tracking check. ProTyre are probably the best

Strange thing is not hit any curbs recently...unless it was the other half not telling me!!!
