I have the XSPC X2O 750 Dual 5.25” Bay Reservoir Pump V4 that came as part of the OcUK Tech Lab - V6 Watercooling Kit 120 and its started to vibrate randomly.

Its got me a bit stumped for ~30 seconds its fine then starts to make a noise and then gets to be quite loud for ~30 seconds before quieting down and stating the whole cycle again.

I can't see anything like an air bubble traveling round the system and I have made sure that the tank is full so I'm not sure what could be causing it.

Is it properly secured into the case?

There seems to be a fair few noisy v4s on various forums.

Have you tried lowering the rpm?
See if there's any room to fit some rubber washers or similar to reduce vibration.

How long have you had it for?

Its been in since mid april so ~3 months now.

Its secured using the quick release system in my case but its was fine until last friday. There isn't really room for rubber washers since its in 2 5.25" bays.

How would I lower the RPM? Its only got a standard molex connector.

Sounds similar to the issue I had with my X20 - already posted this on another thread here but it started making that sort of noise after about 4 months. I've given up trying to fixing and bought a new pump (Laing DDC) instead. If you do decide to take the reservoir apart watch out for the o -ring seal for the lid. If it pops out its awkward to get back in. Don't think you can vary the rpm. I found it tricky to get the tubing from the reservoir to the rad to run straight - no kinks but the bends in the tube may have been too tight? That may have contributed to the problem but Im a newbie when it comes to water cooling so Im not sure. Straightening the tubing out didnt fix it but the damage may already been done. Sorry not being much help!
