I have not seen this yet but it stars Danny Mcbride (Eastbound and Down) and Walton Goggins (Justified)

A dark comedy series about a high school and the two vice principals. McBride and Walton Goggins star as the V.P.s who are in an epic power struggle, vying for the top spot: to be school principal.

Looked really good from the trailers has anyone watched it?

I just laugh looking at walton goggins expressions

but then I loved him in justified as well

Nicely done 2 episodes, its nice to see something different and a comedy that works, while the jokes are not so direct or every minute its done well with balance and excellent acting, feels like the actors are exactly what their characters are in real life with no feeling out purpose.

Wish they released the whole series in one go though, its 21 episodes long also for season 1 so it still remains to be seen if the comedy element or good acting holds, would have preferred it much shorter to maintain the quality but will see.

i'm wondering how much is improvised. there's been a couple of times where the two are face to face throwing continuous insults and i wonder how much is made up on the spot. "you fuzzy moustached wearing ** Absolutlely not - EVH **. X-D

Sticking with it but the humour level has dropped sharply as I predicted, it does have its moments still so am going to stick it out.

I do wish they kept the series short and sweet to maintain quality of writing and humour, oh and I do especially love that mother telling her kids off !

Only 9 episodes for Season 1. Renewed for another with an even darker tone. Don't know how that will go as this was pretty rough and damn funny in places. Been the highlight of my TV year so far.

there were a couple of lesser episodes towards the end - the one w/ the kids in the school was particularly cac - but on the whole i found it very amusing. the end was surprisingly black and out of left field, will be interesting to see where they go w/ it.

Sigh watched it but agree it had an excellent start with excellent jokes and humour but then it did reduce in quality and flow, it ended up being almost a normal drama without any humour towards the end.

It went Community......

I will however watch season 2 since that was some ending !

Good fun this season, at times feels like a normal drama but then burst of comedy reminds us why its a fun show.
