This is Guthrie Govan, guitarists amongs you will know of him as an amazing jazz/rock/fusion guitarist who was also the guitarist in the prog rock band Asia for a while, he's also worked for guitar techniques for many years transcribing songs and writing instructional columns.
I'm really getting into him recently, he just combines so many different styles in his playing, his technique is flawless but what I really think stands out is his phrasing and note selection even when playing over many changes.
His tone is also to die for aswell
Anyway hope you enjoy, if you compare this and 'Canon rock' (XD) they're really a world apart in terms of
