Vid Pid??

Hi guys, just got vista ultimate and still in the basic setting up stages, however i am having trouble getting my USB wireless adapter working.

It's a BT voyager 1055 adapter, and won't install using the disc, as setup fails as soon as it starts. So i downloaded the drivers which were said to work with vista, however during the install i have a prompt come up saying:

"Add VID/PID"

Any ideas what this is, or how to get round it??

Start > Run > MSINFO32

Components > USB > Look for your device in the list (should say USB\VID_XXXX&PID_XXXX)

Thats the info you are looking for. Dunno if the above is available in Vista or for hardware that isnt fully installed. If you have a machine with Windows XP on it which works then it might be worth grabbing them from there
