I've been reading a lot of benchmark articles for the latest CPUs and something that has surprised me is the way in which AMD top end processors now seem to encode faster than Intel C2D, Xeon et al processors. It used to be that Intel CPUs were the fastest CPUs to encode with but why has this changed recently?
