Video Aspect ratio

Hi all,

Got a weird one for you.

I Run a 2560x1080 monitor and when watching 1080p content (full screen on you tube) the video gets very stretched. is there a way to tell my computer 1080p content should stay in that aspect ratio for videos such as youtube?

What GPU are you using? There may be some sort of scaling setting that's stretching it. With AMD, under CCC, then "My Digital Flat Panels", then "Properties", tick the "Enable GPU scaling" option then tick "Maintain aspect ratio". Not sure on Nvidia/Intel but the option should be similiar.

nope doesn't work.

after ticking the box all the options are still greyed out.

That's weird. Youtube always maintains aspect ratio in fullscreen.

Updated flash? Tried different browser?

It's recently stopped working, when I first got my monitor back before Summer it worked fine on any aspect ratio. Now it's random, some video's are fine, some stretch and some even stay correct aspect but are all the way over one side rather than centred :/.
