Hi, Can anyone advise me on what use to convert some vhs recordings onto my computer?

My Video has a scart output and RF also

I haven't any kind of capture card or analogue tv tuner etc, and I don't know what's best to use.

Many thanks

Pete

Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T PCI Freeview TV Tuner (GX-024-HA)
OCUK £40

just add that to a pci slot, install software, connect via normal analogue tv cable. run video and use software to copy to mpeg.

that simple, and u get freeview as a bonus if u connect to aerial.

I'm looking for something similar, ideally with phono connections for both audio and video input so I can copy from my camera and VHS. Any ideas?

Thanks

I forgot to add, that I need a USB external capture device as all my pci slots are taken or too close to my graphics cards.

I've seen the Dazzle DVC 90 usb capture device, but I dont know how good this is, anyone have one?

Just reffering back to the Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T PCI Freeview TV Tuner (GX-024-HA)
OCUK £40

It doesnt mention anywhere on the site about video capture on this card?

its a tv card, it plays any tv signal that goes into it. There are mountains of free software that will allow you to rip that. Plus im about 95% sure it will have the software to do that anyway, mines does and its an older card.
