video capture card?

Hey guys. Im in need of some screen shots and videos from a ps2 game. Would a video capture card allow me to rip direct from what my tv is seeing to my pc.

If so, do you Ocuk do these cards, and could someone possibly reccomend me one.

i think video cards allow that ( i was looking into using a pcmcia one to use to play my ps2 through my laptop screen)

but i found that they lag behind by about 2 seconds

I used a Pinnacle USB capture card (Dsc 90 i think) with some splitters to record footage off an xbox while playing. Plenty of software around to capture video or take screenshots, i just used the included bundle.
It works quite well, and gave me a laugh last night looking at all my old Halo 2 tricking videos.
